Elisha said: Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
So the waters were healed unto this day. (2 Kings 2:21-22)

Landfill leakage evaluation
NGST can be applied to evaluate the leakage of the landfill. The well electrode and the ground electrode are used to input the pulse current into the groundwater. If the barrier layer is damaged, the current will flow through the exudation and groundwater. But if the landfill is undamaged, the pulse current won't flow between electrodes. Moreover, the leaking location can be determined by NGST survey technology on the landfill.
Landfill leakage evaluation is a newly developed technology of Elisha Co. As of 2022, Elisha Co. has completed five case about the landfill leakage evaluation.
Evaluation methodology of landfills leakage
A landfill without leakage will show an electric disconnection result in the circuit of NGST. But an electrical connection result will be presented when a landfill is leaking.

Setup several electrodes in the ground of the landfill, and then conduct an electrical connection test with the electrode of the monitoring well outside the landfill area. This method can be used to check the landfill is leaking or not.

The pulse current forms a flow field between the well electrode and the ground electrode. Therefore, there will be a stronger magnetic field shown in the area of the flow field of pulse current, while the area without the current flow field will show a lower magnetic field.
